Sojourner Gallery is delighted to announce the opening of its new pop-up exhibition, The Ephemeral Urban Enigmas, curated by Zhiheng Zhang and produced by Zona Yuechen Guan. This uniquely structured exhibition invites all New York-based photographers—professionals, amateurs, and students alike—to participate.
The exhibition, a unique blend of curated and crowd-sourced works, presents creations from artists including Guang Chen, Jia Chen, Chengmin Gabriella Dan, Jiaming Stephen Deng, Jie Sally He, Tyler Jordan, Yuxiang Steven Wang.
In an age where urban landscapes have become ubiquitous backdrops to our daily lives, it is easy to overlook the extraordinary moments that unfold in the midst of the ordinary. The exhibition, “The Ephemeral Urban Enigmas,” aims to rekindle our curiosity and appreciation for the intricate tapestry of urban life through the lens of unaltered, spontaneous photography. This open call invites photographers to seize the raw, unmanipulated essence of urban existence, immortalizing fleeting instants that infuse our cities with undeniable zest.
